This page will hopefully cover everything you'll need to know for how to redeem your art for

Most often, you'll likely be earning

by participating in prompts or events run by the Crederia ARPG. In the event that you've decided to draw or write for a Crederian outside of a prompt or event, we'd like to give you a little bit of thanks! And it's in coin form!

What applies for Spare Change?
Art and Writing may both be claimed for Spare Change, and both have some minimum requirements to be met before coin can be claimed. These requirements will be covered below! Previously only art that you drew for yourself, or as a gift for someone else, were able to be claimed for spare change. Newly, we are adding commissions to the list as well, both for the artist and the commissioner. More on that below, too!

What is the payout?
For art, you as the artist will earn 1 coin for drawing your own Crederian, or 2 coins for drawing gift art of someone else's Crederian.
Art trades where both parties are drawing Crederians for eachother count as 2 coins each, just like two separate gift arts would.
For writing, you as the writer will earn 1 coin for writing about your own, or 2 coins for writing about someone else's Crederian.
As a commissioner buying art, you will be able to earn 1 coin per commissioned piece. As an artist taking a commission, you will be able to earn 1 coin per commissioned piece.
Art as part of a trade that is not just art-for-art, for example, art as part of a trade for a design, counts as 1 coin for the artist, similar to if you were drawing a commission.

Please note! We will be accepting back-claims for old art up until the end of 2021. Starting on the first of January 2022, we will ONLY be accepting submissions of new art for spare change!

Is there a limit?
Usually, yes. But, since the group is currently under construction and there are no prompts currently available, we've temporarily removed the limit on the number of Spare Change submissions per month. If you have multiple simple images that you would like to submit for Spare Change, feel free to put them all on one canvas if you'd prefer!

How do I submit?
Let's go over these one at a time.

Art: If you yourself have drawn your own Crederian, or drawn gift art (not a commission) for someone else, please upload the art to your dA gallery and submit it to the Crederia group's Spare Change folder, and include this form in the description:

Other Crederians: Name (link to their phloxetique masterlist entry),
Old Personal Art?: (was this art of someone else's current Crederian drawn for yourself at a time when you previously owned this Crederian?)
Total Coin Value: (remember it's 1 for your own, including old personal art, and 2 for others! max 4 characters per piece may be counted for coins)

Writing: If you yourself have written about your own Crederian, or written a gift piece (not a commission) for someone else, please upload the piece to your dA gallery (or journal) and submit it to the Crederia group's Spare Change folder, and include this form in the description:

Commissions: If you as the artist have taken a Crederia-themed commission, YCH, or other such piece, please upload the piece to your dA gallery and submit it to the Crederia group. If you as the commissioner have purchased a Crederia-themed commission, alternately, please encourage the artist to include the form below in their description and make sure the piece is submitted to the Crederia group. If your commissioner is unable to include the form in their description, then please suggest the piece to the Crederia group (if possible), and note the group with a link to the art + the form below. Remember that a commissioned piece will always earn 1 coin for the commissioner (if they are a part of the group), and 1 coin for the buyer (if they are a part of the group), maximum.

Requirements of Completion

For drawings, Spare Change images must be completed pictures with color! Full body drawings should be flat-colored at minimum, and bust or headshots should be colored & shaded.

For writing, Spare Change works should be 500 words at minimum, and additional characters must be present and active for at least 50% of the piece to be counted for extra coins.

For commissions, the same rules as above apply, but the maximum payout for a commission will always be 1 coin for the commissioner and 1 coin for the artist.

Additional Change
These are one-time-use "Spare Change prompts" which may be applied only once to a Crederian under their current owner. As you can see, there's not much variety here yet ;3c
